LIke many others, started with doll clothes at 9 or so..sewed for myself, then my children. Also, I've always done a lot of DIY decorating and sewing. I weave (but not for a while), done some knitting/crocheting and embroidery. Made my first quilt in 1999. Firm believer that "she who dies with the most fabric wins!" Occasionally get to quilt with my sisters who live in Washington and California. Nice!
