I have been sewing for at least 45 years, and lately I have been really enjoying the process of making quilts, The only problem seems to be the constant inspiration, which means I usually have about 10 projects going at a time.
I recently joined the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild - so many talented ladies! It's nice to find a group to sew and grow with.

I recently joined the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild - so many talented ladies! It's nice to find a group to sew and grow with.
I also do a bit of knitting, a little crochet, some papier mache (so much fun!), treasure boxes, as well as draw and paint.
My friend Renee, who is a textile artist, has been teaching me shiburi dyeing techniques and I look forward to the day when the fabrics work their way into my quilts.
More than anything, I would love to learn encaustic painting.
