My grandma tried to teach me to crochet when I was little but I was left handed and she'd had a stroke so her coordination wasn't what it should be with her right hand to teach me. I became disabled a few years ago and can't work any more but I'd really like to learn how to do more than just small squares crocheting and how to knit actual garments that I could donate to homeless charities so that I can still have a purposeful fulfilling life and contribute something worthwhile even without being able to work.

But I'm determined to give it another shot as the year comes to an end and the new begins. I just need to make that leap!
