Anything you can make is better! I sew, bake all my breads, vegetable garden, raise hens, make maple syrup, a bit of cheese. I also am very basic at knitting (scarves, hats and mittens), crocheting (a baby blanket), and have made one quilt (which came out very nicely, but doesn't qualify me as a quilter). Learned to sew in 7th grade Catholic school home-economics class, from a nun, lol. First project was a pleated skirt in red tartan plaid. From there, I made all my own figure skating costumes and workout skirts, then to making my three daughters dresses and other clothing. I've been away from it for quite a while, but now I have grandchildren, so I'm back!
