I watched my maternal grandmother forever crotcheting endless items with spider thin threads, no patterns, she just seemed to make it up as she went. I was 9 when my sewing teacher in primary school realised I had potential and ignited my interest in all things to do with sewing, embroidery, etc. After that I was self taught until my 40's when I began to take serious classes - quilting, bobbin lace making, embroidery, tapestry, doll making. My only regret - not having enough time to enjoy doing all these hobbies.....I never tire of looking at other people's creations, fine workmanship, ANY efforts in the craft fields and marvel at the inventiveness of other people. I learn something every day....craft learning is endless.....like following a magic road with new discoveris on the journey.....
