I have a genetic eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa ,or RP, which is causing me to lose my vision. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was about 13. About 7 years ago I decided to teach myself to knit. The internet is a great source of blogs and videos for this. Creating handcrafted items is a great way to relieve the stress in my life.
