My mother was a crafter. As a child I had a talent for drawing and she and my family encouraged it. I have crocheted, knitted, painted in oils, acrylics, and watercolor, made a quilt, sculpted in polymer clay, made some ceramics and now I am devoted to cardmaking and papercrafts.
