I'd have to give most of the credit to my grandparents: My maternal grandmother was a fabulous lace maker, designer & seamstress-she also taught me how to knit and crochet when I was very young. My paternal grandfather was a tailor and always let me watch and help him when he was cutting and sewing. My paternal grandfather was a tailor and always let me watch and help him when he was cutting and sewing. My mother nurtured this side of my talents throughout my young days and high school, and to this day, is still one of my biggest 'cheerleaders'. I've also been fortuntate to have several friends who are talented crafters, sewers and knitters. I find it interesting that as we grow older, how these interests keep us close together.,
