Living in rural South Australia as one of 5 children, with a very hard working stay at home Mum, she would give us projects to do to 'keep us out of her hair'! Now in my 60's I enjoy sewing, knitting, crocheting, felting, weaving and more recently leather projects (brooches, bracelets, ear rings). One of my regrets is that not many young people are interested in craft and especially in my family, no one to pass my skills on to.
