I started out very young. I remember sewing cards with pre-punched holes and shoelace like yarn with a plastic coated end so no needle was required. The very first serious craft project I remember doing was an embroidery sampler my Grandmother gave to me. It was a folksy design of figures at the top with the alphabet below. It was so long ago I can't remember how young I was!
