I was taught to knit when I was 7 and made clothes and household items on an old treadle machine until I bought an electric one. I now have a computerised machine and use it most days. I have been to quilting courses in the UK and started cross stitching 30 years ago when it was still very new in the UK. enjoy any sort of crafting and have always got some sort of project going in each genre and like to swap about. I have been to quilting courses in the UK and started cross stitching 30 years ago when it was still very new in the UK. enjoy any sort of crafting and have always got some sort of project going in each genre and like to swap about. I also love to pass on my skills and am now going to teach an Italian friend how to quilt and to cross stitch.
