Growing up in a large family my Mother was always sewing or knitting something. I had knitting needles in my hands by the time I was 6 and started sewing shortly after. When my boys were young I made a lot of their clothes but my favorite back then was making their Halloween costumes. I then started selling dolls, bunnies and simple quilts at craft sales for extra cash. Later when I remarried my sister-in-law Michelle taught me how to Freehand Quilt and I became addicted. My little business grew from quilted bags, to quilts and now patterns. I Love when a new quilter sends me a picture of their very first quilt made with one of my patterns, it just makes me smile.
