My childhood was filled with creative discoveries. I was lucky to have parents who encouraged creativity. My sister, Lea, placed the first knitting needles in my little hands and started a life long passion for needlearts. Eventually, I found community amoung other crafty folk and attended art school (SCAD) in Savannah, my hometown, after majoring in writing and painting earlier in my school career. I pursued my dreams and kept knitting and crocheting for charity until I was inspired to write Knit 1 for the Road and Knit Knitavian Style. I continue to write, knit, crochet and play with my Yorkies, spend time with my husband, Dave, and spread my joy of knitting everywhere I travel.
Knit with glee!
