My story is not entirely unique. Like many quilters , I have sewn and tried every new craft that has come along, for as long as I can remember. To create things with cloth is just in my blood. My mother taught me to sew and to embroider when I was 6 years old. After sewing my children?s clothing and mine for many years, I discovered the wonderfully fun world of quilting in 2001 where I made my first wall quilt. I tied the intersections with embroidery floss and secured the mitered borders with glue! It was then that I realized I needed to take classes at my local quilt shop. My techniques have improved significantly since then to the point of designing my own patterns and teaching in quilt shops. What a fantastic time I?ve been having while making new quilting friends.
