Hi, my name is Christi and I am a self taught polymer artist - When I first saw a polymer clay demonstration on the Carol Duvall show on HGTV, I decided to try it - I was hooked. I have many books and am always interested in trying new things with the clay. I have been active with polymer clay since 2004. I have written for Polymer Cafe magazine (August 2009) and have several tutorials available on my site. My work has been featured in Polymer Cafe magazine and in the book "Polymer Artists Showcase", by Tejae Floyde. I love to crochet, too. I crochet children's toys and purses, women's jewelry and felt crocheted purses. Mostly, I crochet for my granddaughter. All of my designs are handmade by me in my home studio. I use a mix of clay brands, including Premo, Fimo and Kato. Kato liquid polymer clay is my favorite sealer for finishing almost all of my pieces, including beads and crochet hooks. I purchase many flower canes from other artists, but I do make my own, too.
