I have done crafting of one sort or another off and on all my life. After I became disabled and all I was doing was sleeping and watching TV, I decided to learn how to make jewelry. Very soon after I started I realized there were a million diffrent types of jewelry or parts of jewelry I could do. I knew I didn't like goddy beads, so that was out right away. I started with chain maile and loved it. It just wasn't enough so I took a class in making beads and loved it except it was too hard to do because of my arthritis. I moved on to metalsmithing and enameling and that is where I have stayed. I am also a tool collector so this seems to be the place that fits me best.
