I think I started sewing in the 5th grade.Back then school didn't seem so complicating.and I didn;t know I would have 7 girls to make clothes for.My grandmother would spread out a sheet on the bed and make YoYo's and arrange them real pretty on the sheet and applique them on.I still have the one she gave my mother.I did a lot of crafts for the boardwalk in New Jersy,but for me it was a job and I loved it.In Key West I made a lot of ceramic pretties,and I did a lot of leather work I taught myself to crochet and I started sewing a lot in Key West .I had to keep my children occupied so in the meantime I learned more and more.I watched my Aunt quilt with lace and all kinds of beading.and she taught me to embrodery.I put quilts toether and my daughters would get in the floor and pin them.Then I had 4 back surgerys that put a stop to a lot but I have found I can quilt properly and I love it.I made 16 quilts for christmas for my great grands and one grand. Now I'm informed all the grands want one along with the in-law's,all the grands and then there are the daughters.I made my 6'7" Son a Tn.Vols king-size blanket,he said at least his toes stay warm.I've been married for 43 yrs.we have 3 dogs an 1 siminized puddycat ,they are,poodles,ginger,Babbette,and a austrailian shepherd/chow named Jax,from Jacksonville,Fla.and 1 daughter is a school,teacher ,1 owns her own mobile doggrooming company,1 is manager over Ark,Tn,and Ky.company owned McDonalds, those 3 also have a singing ministry,they goto places all over and sing , Of the rest 2 are stay at home wives,1 was a mortgagebroker for WellFargo,I have 2 dental assistants ,4 plumbers,1owns his own company,1 just got out of the Marines,I lost one Son in 2008 He was a computer analyst for Winn Dixie and my youngest son is a critical computer analyst.My husband retired f
