My grandmothers were excellent quilters and mom was a crocheter of dainty threads. Also, my grandfather and father were builders so I guess it was in my DNA to be crafty. I started my first embroidery stitches before I was in school, but I didn't pursue so I forgot what I learned and am studying at this time.
