I am a mom of 3 great kids, the oldest is in collage and working full time, middle one just graduated High School and is now working. My little guy well he's 15 but will always be my little guy is in High School and will be going into the Air Force after graduation. I can't be anymore proud of my kids! I am married to the most understand loving man in the word. He has accepted my fabric addiction...lol...he even helps me out sometimes. I have been quilting now for about 4 years and I LOVE it! I have made pillowcases for charity and a quilt for everyone in the family and then some. I will be thinking of the next project before I even finish what I'm working on! Let alone the 2-3 projects I have going at the same time. Am I the only one like that or is there more people out there like me???? I also cross stitch, make cards, make paper baskets and dried floral wreaths. I also read allot. I have been limited the last 2 years. I had 2 major back surgeries and found out that I scar really bad and now the scar tissue has wrapped around my nerves on my left side and down my leg. I only have about 20% use of my left leg so I have a new friend...my wheelchair...but again the wonderful husband found a table that fit next to my bed so all I have to do is swing my legs over the side of the bed and I can sew. I show him the pattern and he goes into the sewing room and gets everything I need and I still get to make my quilts! He put a bookshelf on the other side of the bed for all my books and when I feel like working on my cross stitch, he knows were all that is and gets everything I need. I don't know what I would do with out him!
