I (out of necessity) made all my childrens clothes as they were growing up. I have 2 girls. I lost my son 2 years ago. After many years of making kids clothes, I needed a challenge so I made a 3 piece suit for my husband that really turned out great and he loved it. I had several requests from other folks but I decided I would rather not make another do to the hours and hours it took to make it. I was a cub scout den leader when my son was 10, and had them earn their patches with with agraculture by shucking dozens and dozens of corn that we then made corn relish. The boys really enjoyed it some thought the only way to get corn was to go to the grocery store, needless to say, this was a real eye opener for some. I have fond memories of the "good ol days". I retired about a year and a half ago, that's when I really got into quilting and have not stopped. I am always looking for new patterns and challenges. I now have 2 beautiful great grand baby boys. I sew, crochet, knit and quilt everything I can for the new loves of my life. They live in Georgia so I don't get to see then as often as I would like but they are always on my mind and in my heart. Who was it that said "If I had known grandkids were so much fun, I would have had them first"
