I first learned to sew in 4-H when I was 10. My mother and maternal grandmother both sewed also, so there was a tradition of enjoying hand-made clothing and quilts in our family. My other grandmother knitted and crocheted. I taught myself to crochet as a teenager, and to knit in the late 80's. I then added spinning in the early 90's and weaving just a few years ago.
