I started making my own jewelry a few years ago and began with silversmithing which I love. Since I don't have a torch or workroom, I am limited to working on my silversmithing projects when I can attend a class so I can use the tools. I have since moved into the world wire wrapping and beading since I can do these anywhere and really like both mediums. Silversmithing is my first love, but I have become fascinated with mixed media (I love texture!) and want to try my hand at that. I wish there was more of a community of jewelry designers in Utah.
