I started making quilts when I was pregnant with my second child 13 years ago. The first quilt I made was a grandmother's flower garden design that I did in masculine colors and dubbed "Grandson's Flower Garden" accordingly.
It was a crib size quilt I did for my newborn son and now it sits in a box all freshly sewn applique style onto foundation blocks in an effort to save it from it's numerous washings and wear and tear.

I praise God for the gift I have of sewing and quilting. I am completely self taught, using numerous books, magazines, videos, and tips from friends to get me through the many projects I tackle. He continues to bless me with each project I do by either strengthening the skills I know have, or learning new ones.
