I've been crafting since I was very young, so I have had various forms of crafting in my life for over 60 years. As a child, I did typical children's crafts, but by junior high (middle school) I had started doing a lot of counted thread cross stitch, crocheting (mostly Irish crochet) and knitting. The one that has formed the largest part of my life is knitting. I have been a bit on-and-off over the years, but for the last ten years or so it has been very much on. Since 2007, I've been a member of Ravelry, which has been a major part of my life.
I have been designing my own projects for almost the whole time I've been knitting. I have posted several patterns on Ravelry, where I am known as KnitterlyAnne. For the past few years, I've been knitting almost exclusively with the yarns dyed by my very talented daughter, Meg, who is the founder of Twisted Fiber Art.
