I started out doing plastic canvas, designing my own lings, then my sister Willie handed me some little coasters in cross stitch, I did them in an evening took them back to her and asked what else she had, (Willie was having parties for Dimensions Designs in x stitch at the time) each time I finished a little piece I'd ask what's next. Till I fell in love with Pat and Gloria's Precious moments, I didn't like them small so started doing them double and tripple size, they hang now in church's and homes around my home town. Quilting comes about as Willie went home in 2007 leaving me a list of family members who she cut out quilt blocks for or boughtmaterial forthe pattern to be done, she was sure I could do it, I have done two 9 patches, and several lap quilts, one being a rag quilt that I cross stitched and will started to quilt. ..Now I am the harder quilts like the card trick, to do for my heart sister, Willie chose the material andwrote a note telling me the pattern that must go with it. So I crochet, needle point, cross stitch,, hand quilted for years (Arthur arthritis does not allow for that any more) but I do sew the quilt tops together, and I can use all the help I can get in teaching me how they should be done to look good, crisp and Willie might have approved of...LOL
