I love sewing! Unfortunately I have very little time & I'm a slow sewer (not a good combination ~ LOL) I'm at a high beginner to low/mid intermediate level. I love sewing! Unfortunately I have very little time & I'm a slow sewer (not a good combination ~ LOL) I'm at a high beginner to low/mid intermediate level. My goals are to improve my sewing skill level, techniques & speed. I especially would enjoy doing home projects such as slipcovers for chairs, sofas, draperies, blinds, decorative pillows, bed linens, etc. As well as all of my clothing (especially coats, jackets, unique & fun loving) and repairs & alterations. Lofty goals for a slow beginner/mid intermediate level sewer ;-) But I'm NOT giving up! Sewing is very relaxing & rewarding for me, I get lost in time, everything seems to "go away" & I am in a "zone" for a blissfully & relaxing Rewards (until I hit a snag without anyone to turn to in getting me through it) Hopefully this site will decrease or maybe illiminate any future snags, getting me to where I want to be in sewing! Then I can share & teach this creative skill to others & make creative gifts for my loved ones, friends & people in need!
