I?m Dixie Champoux and this is the story of how Los Angeles Needlework started! I want to first thank you for your visit ? it is very appreciated. Be sure to check back often as our patterns change often. Also, take advantage of our FREE pattern a month club by joining our Newsletter (the banner is on the right sidebar). I have been obsessed with cross stitch since I was young. I never understood why I couldn?t get patterns that were new and fresh. All of the patterns I found looked stale and old ? Not a project I wanted to start, never mind finish! The entire world is constantly changing and updating so why not do the same with cross stitch patterns. I decided that I would design a few patterns for myself and my friends so that we had something new and current to work on. These new patterns went over so well when I realized that we probably were not the only ones feeling this way. That?s when Los Angeles Needlework was born. Don?t get me wrong, there?s nothing wrong with the traditional cross stitch patterns, sewing patterns or crochet patterns ? We just needed a breath of fresh air. That?s why I started designing a completely new collection of modern cross stitch patterns and modern crochet patterns that reflected the current times. I also maintain a listing of the traditional patterns as well to cater to all tastes! I started out with some of the funny viral internet memes and went on to retro video games and everything else I could think of. Whether you are looking for mustaches patterns or bacon cross stitch patterns or even patterns on zombies, you?ll find a wide variety of patterns in my shop.
