I started sewing at 8, on a treadle machine! I quickly graduated to my mom's electric Singer. I made a lot of my own clothes while in school. At about the same time, I learned to knit , crochet, tat and embroider. My mother taught me all the crafts she knew. I added quilting @ 45 and have been keeping up with most of the crafts I've learned. Now I'm retired and have a lot more time to devote to my crafting.
