After working 30 years in a "Office Cubical",..."Crunching Numbers" all day,...along with many,. The Company I worked for had a huge Budget cut in 2010 and I was a causality of the suffering economy. I didn't know it at the time, but it was a blessing in disguise!! I had now knowledge that I had a hidden "creative side" to me whatsoever and after climbing the walls with boredom one day, I decided "I" was going to "get-a-hobby", so to speak and jumped in my car and headed to the local Michael's Crafts Store. Going up and down the isles looking at different crafts to see what I resonated with,... Then I found {{{THE JEWELRY MAKING SECTION!!}}} O.M.G.!! That was it!! & I always loved to wear different kinds of Jewelry pieces, the kind that people stop and say, "Hey! where did you get that?? Now that's different??" So Jewelry It was!! Besides what girl doesn't LOVE to play with Jewelry?? My hobby has turned out to be THE MOST therapeutic outlet for me and has transformed into a small little business. I'm on Etsy.com, with a few items listed and I love doing Craft Fairs from time to time. I love working with all kinds of Jewelry and want to learn more and more. Started out with Gemstone Bracelets, Necklaces, Earrings,.. etc. I started Wire Wrapping here just last year and LOVE IT! and my goal is to master Metal Smiting in the future.
