In earlier times I sew mostly clothes, then my interest shiftet on art crafts. In 2012 I came across a book of Shizuko Kuroha - a japanese great quilter.
I love her work so much, that I immediately got the urge to try quilting.

Since then I fell in love with quilting. Meanwhile I had the opportunity to visit the Sainte Marie aux Mines Quilt Show 2012. There I saw one beautiful quilt by Shizuko Kuroha in real and of course so many other astonishing quilts. Very impressing I found the quilts from the australian quilter di Ford, of course also many others. This event was just great!
I am happy to improve my abilities at any time ... Therefore I am very thankful for this platform here, where so many other People are sharing the same passion.
