Crafting is something one naturally does in my family
I've been an artist since I was 6 years old. My mother is a 'devout' quilter and seamstress, knitter, crocheter and cake decorator. My sister does embroidery, acts and writes music, another sister is a sculptress working in clay. I do all of the above and I also love to tat lace but am primarily a watercolor artist who's work has been shown and sold internationally. I also work in Pastel, print making & monotypes. DO YOU THINK ANYONE ON THIS SITE WOULD BE INTERESTED IN LEARNING HOW TO TAT LACE? IT'S HARD TO TEACH BUT I THINK I COULD DO IT.
Also, I'm a bead worker who has done lamp-working (making glass into beads using a torch) and have been working with wire to create unique jewelry. I'm interested in learning to do small soldering to make rings, broaches, wire sculpture. Money is indeed an object, but I'm hoping that my many artist friends might have some used equipment that they have updated during the Holidays. I've JUST joined Craftsy and I'm excited to look into the possibilities on this site.
