Around that time I learnt to knit & enjoyed that much more than sewing. As my children came along I went back to sewing... making (& knitting) baby clothes then school uniforms & jumpers. Several years ago I started making jewellery & still take time out to make up earrings & necklaces when requested. I have my jewellery displayed in a local shop & sell quite well. Now I am a grandmother & really enjoy sewing for the babies, & making soft toys. After a very busy 2012 with a market stall selling jewellery, soft toys & little girls clothing...I have decided to try something new. No more soft toys - this time it's tote bags. Perhaps next month it will be something different again. There are never enough hours in a day for me!
