In 2011 I retired from a 25-year career as a medical transcriber. I have a college degree in music education where piano was my major instrument. I learned to knit and crochet from my mom as a young child. By high school, I had knit myself a cardigan sweater, and since then I have knitted and crocheted hundreds of items.
