Growing up, I watched my mom turn her creative ideas into reality on her sewing machine. Growing up, I watched my mom turn her creative ideas into reality on her sewing machine. Now that I am older and will be having kids soon, I have a new found appreciation for the skills I was taught as a kid.
I also love paper crafting. There's so much more meaning and heart in a handmade card than a store bought one. My friends and family all know how special they are to me when they receive one of my handmade cards. I love to support local small businesses that sell these because I know how much work and thought was really put into the process.
On the side, when I truly have free time, I also like to make my own soaps and candles.
