I've had people bring in a picture or a poster from their child's room to duplicate on a cake. When my daughter was born I made mommy & daughter dresses, back when you could get away with that, lol. I was a GS Leader. By accident I got into playing with fabric instead of frosting. Since I think outside the box, I have a terrible time of matching corners making quilts. Not to say I haven't sweat over a few, including memory quilts. I've just found that by letting me "play" with fabric I can create pictures. I would love to have people hang these instead of a framed print. Next, I want to make a family portrait. I have been collecting pieces of different whites and creams and some with design as it changes the colors as well. Wish me luck!
