My mother-in-law bought me my first sewing machine for my birthday this past October, and I'm spending as much time as possible on it. My mother and grandmother taught me to hand sew beginning at age 6. I taught myself to crochet when I was 15, in boarding school. (Because I taught myself to do so, I do it a little differently - instead of holding my needle sideways, I stick it in my bellybutton!) Yea - I'm a bit eccentric :) I also oil paint, enjoy paper crafts, cooking, baking, coloring, doodling, Sharpie crafts, and pretty much any craft I can get my hands on. I'd love to learn more about making jewelry, quilting, gardening.
