I started sewing at 9 years hemming dish towels for my mother. Then took 4-H sewing through high school. Made my own clothing and suits during my working years and made a suit for my husband during the polyester knit era. Joined a quilt guild in 2011 to learn to finally quilt. The home responsibilities do not allow me the time or space to quilt as much as I want to. Thankfully, the quilt guild has an all day workshop each month where I escape to get a day of quilting in. Hence, the unfinished projects getting done sooooo slowly.
