Love to bake and decorate cakes. Having overcome an illness baking became my therapy to get my mind off of a long process ahead. Between My God, family and baking that road doesn;t seem so long....I love the teachers on craftsy some of them I know from food network, how great is to learn from the comfort of your home. Now when I bake cakes for family and friends I can look like a professional. I've been baking for over 3 to 4 years and never felt like my cakes looked professional now thanks to my lessons that can change. My goal first is get well, by the grace of God, then become a gumpaste artist, that part of cake decorating I love! I can look at mostly anythings and create it. My other hobby is carpentry I love working with power tools but with my so so days, somehow it doesn't seem too smart working with power saws...I like my hands!! I guess I'll stick with cake decorating instead, it's a lot safer.
