It's in my blood to make beautiful things- and so I do.
My Granny used to be the crafting queen- she loved to sew, and she painted every piece of wood she could get her hands on. She instilled in me a love for creating beautiful things at a young age. I started learning to sew about age 10. I couldn't begin to tell you how many projects we did together: birdhouses, quilts... even a Civil War gown.
I dabbled in crochet growing up, but it wasn't until I was expecting my third child (first girl!!) that I was seriously interested in crocheting. A dear sweet lady (who is now deceased) taught me how to make the various stitches and how to read a pattern. I fell in LOVE with crocheting- I have a Pinterest board to prove it!
I made a few hats for friends and family as gifts, and everyone kept saying: "You could totally sell these." Eventually crocheting became a sort of therapy, so having a natural entrepreneurial spirit, I decided to give it a go.
The pieces you will see in my shop I made because I love them. I was happy making those things- hopefully, they'll make you or someone you care about happy too.
