I've always enjoyed making desserts, which lead to a strong interest in baking sweets. I worked in a bakery until I injured myself, and then started making cakes from home. This was holding my interest, so I took some courses in cake decorating to see what else I could learn. With no more courses available locally, I found Craftsy and have been enjoying more learning and hope that people are enjoying my cakes as much as I enjoy making them. My wife supported my interests and eventually took an interest as well. I started teaching her what I have learned and she has become what I call "my lovely assistant." I hope she continues to enjoy this as I love having her by my side in the kitchen, as well as in our everyday life.
