Jenn Tomaszewski
Director of Community Relations
Jenn was born and raised in New York (city, suburbs, and country) where she received her BFA with a concentration in photography from Alfred University. Since, she left the cold gray skies of the east coast behind and loves calling Colorado home.
Since arriving in Denver, Jenn has found an addiction to hiking up mountains, backpacking and spending as many days rock climbing as she can. In addition to putting her hands to work outside, Jenn has always been driven by creativity. She finds inspiration in others, and draws motivation from challenging projects like getting that next climb, knitting a more complicated lace pattern or mastering a new cooking recipe.
Jenn has been so impressed watching the Craftsy community grow and is constantly proud to be apart of such a team.
Emma Bindbeutel
Manager of Community Relations
Emma was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri. She is happy to talk about the St Louis Cardinals (2011 World Series Champs!) or the Mizzou Tigers anytime with you. She also would be happy to introduce you to the wonders of gooey butter cake and toasted raviolis (google them, you will not regret it).
Emma is currently a brand new Denver transplant from Los Angeles, California. Emma had previously been working for the wonderful company of TOMS Shoes and there sparked the interest for start up companies that were making a difference. After spending a summer traveling, she decided to give up the beach and head towards the mountains! Emma is ready to embrace the Denver mountain life living of micro breweries, skiing/fly fishing and Tim Tebow.
Karleen Mercuri
Community Relations Associate
Karleen is a rock climber, chapstick addict, mocha enthusiast, and DIY junkie. Originally from Chicago, she is a proud transplant to Colorado, now soaking in over 300 days of sunshine a year. An English major, Karleen always enjoys a good classic (she’s hoping to finish Anna Karenina before she dies) and snuggling with her Shar Pei mix Huxley.
Her chosen craft is stamp-making/block printing, and she loves to make quirky stationary to send to friends. She is currently learning how to print her own fabric (and will then be taking sewing courses on Craftsy!).
She is excited to soak in all the crafting knowledge offered by Craftsy members and fellow Sympoz employees!
Rebekah Weidner
Community Relations Associate
Rebekah was born and raised in Connecticut for 23 years. She has since become a happy Coloradan transplant, but will always miss the New England autumns! Her creative side comes out in sewing and she even made her own prom dress back in high school! She is looking forward to learning how to knit and improving on her sewing skills with Craftsy!

About Me:
I have been a maker from the beginning, thanks to my very creative family. I am fascinated with technique, and enjoy paying attention to details. I love being creative, and inspiring others to embrace their own creativity. My favorites include meticulous knitting projects, spinning beautiful fibers into yarn, and sewing garments for myself out of natural fabrics.
Jessica Hutton

About Me:
Jessica is originally from Maine and grew up in Upstate NY. After earning a BFA in ceramics from SUNY Potsdam and moving around the country as a starving artist for a few years, she decided to do a quick stint in the Army which brought her to beautiful, sunny CO! Always with at least 5 projects running at any given time, Jessica loves to make things of all sorts working with wood, clay, metal, glass, paper, fabric, epoxies, paint, wax and anything else she can get her hands on. Jessica is incredibly excited to have found such a great new crafting resource and workplace in Craftsy.
Jenny Askari

About Me:
Jenny is a recent California transplant eager to experience all that the Mile High City has to offer! With the exception that her ideal trip to the mountains involves hanging out in the lodge sipping hot chocolate. She earned a BS in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurology, Physiology and Behavior at University of California, Davis. She is thrilled to be a new addition to the Craftsy team. Prior to, Jenny worked in the fitness industry for over 5 years, managed a local gym and has also written for a fitness blog.
Although new to crafting, her passion is in the kitchen. She loves to create and share with friends and family. When she is not hard at work, she is swinging from the ceiling, with her new found interest in aerial yoga. Also in her free time, Jenny loves to paddle board and hike. She completed her first half marathon last October and is looking to logging in more miles this year while training for a full marathon. Jenny has two unhealthy obsessions: all things Nike and watching independent short films.
Brianna Frey

Brianna was born and raised in Colorado and recently moved back from Chicago, where she found out she is scared to death of rats! However, the Windy City will always hold a special place in her heart. Being back in CO will allow more opportunities to hike, backpack, and fish. She has always been inspired by animals (Blue Footed Boobies and Marmots are a few favorites). A few years ago she had the opportunity to visit some amazing countries and can’t wait to travel again! The main love of her life is Mr. Darcy, her adorable, handsome, cat. She knows that Mr. Darcy would look very cute in a knitted hat, but first she will have to take a few Craftsy classess.
