Charity Long

Charity Long

Manager of Finance & Accounting

Charity has been in the accounting field for over 15 years and has previous experience in the medical insurance, construction management and software industries. She has always called Colorado home; even when she was working for nearly two years in Hawaii (she now has a collection in her closet of one-too-many Tommy Bahama Aloha shirts). She received her BS in Accounting right in the heart of downtown Denver at Metropolitan State College. Prior to joining Sympoz/Craftsy, she most recently worked at a human capital management software and technology company where she held the title of Accounting Manager and kept all of the financial ducks in a row. She was also heavily involved with workforce management, with responsibilities ranging from onboarding to employee compensation and benefit administration.

She has a knack for numbers and is analytical, however uses the right side of her brain as often as possible. She was the editor of her high school yearbook and continues her interest in journalism, photography, page layout and embellishments through scrapbooking. She also designs and makes cards for all occasions with the help from rubber stamps, embossing powders and her Cricut®. She is known to plan elaborate birthday parties for her two sons (you should see the Cookie Monster invites and Tow-Mater cupcakes). She also enjoys playing golf, yoga, watching live football and baseball, and is a recent P90X graduate. She loves being outdoors and aspires to own a second home in Estes.

Karyn Miller

Karyn Miller

Sr. VP of Finance & Accounting

Karyn is an Ohioan by birth and a member of the Gator Nation by choice. Karyn spends every Saturday during the fall watching Gator football and any other football team that would have implications on the Gator’s ranking. Although she does admit that her interest in football each year is determined by how high the Gators are ranked.

Karyn brings over 20 years of accounting experience to Sympoz, including 11 years as the CFO of both public and private companies in the media, IT, and financial services industries. Karyn brings deep experience in implementing the policies and procedures necessary to ensure profitable and sustainable growth for start-up companies, establishing human resource functions, and creating value for shareholders. She expects to be able to repeat this at Sympoz in her current role.

Karyn’s husband was very excited for her to join Craftsy in the hopes that she might actually learn to sew on a button instead of just throwing the shirt away when one pops off.

Heather Quereau

Heather Quereau

Staff Accountant

Heather Quereau was born in Minnesota and raised in Colorado. She came to Craftsy after taking sometime off to hone her most time consuming and loved craft; making and raising small versions of people. Prior to that she was a Senior Financial Analyst at Lockheed Martin and before that she was the Accounting Supervisor at Noodles & Company.

In her spare time (yeah right) she enjoys actual crafting. Her passions include quilting, making cakes for family parties, and most recently crocheting small Amigurumi stuffies for all the kids. She is on the Board of Directors for the local Pyrotechnics club as well as the PTA at her kids school.

Greg Sturr

Greg Sturr

Director of Analytics

Greg Sturr grew up in Colorado and Wyoming and after spending nine years in South Carolina and Tennessee he is very happy to now be living in Boulder. Greg is an avid cyclist and is passionate about spending as much time as possible outdoors.

Greg has spent over 17 years in the financial services industry in various risk management, operations, financial analysis, and pricing roles before joining Craftsy as the Director of Analytics in the Finance department. Greg is very excited to finally be working for a company which provides a service that customers love because it enriches their lives.

While Greg is not yet a crafty person, he does have a talent for bicycle repair and maintenance. In the spirit of Craftsy, he loves teaching people how to care for their bikes and is always willing to help people with their repairs.

Kendra Haberkorn

Kendra Haberkorn

Director of People, Strategy and Operations

Kendra spent many years bouncing between the coasts and a couple countries, but loves life back home in Colorado (even though she admits that San Francisco still has a piece of her heart…). You’ll often find her staring out the window at the mountains, which she enjoys almost as much as skiing down them. After HR roles in industries as varied as consulting, sporting goods and mining, Kendra is excited to be a part of Craftsy, which combines her passions for creativity, learning and helping people find their inspiration to achieve—whether personally or professionally. These days, her main creative outlet is the slow and steady process of writing a novel, but she hopes that Craftsy motivates her to pick back up some long lost habits (cross-stitch anyone?) or find a new diversion somewhere along the way.
