  • 1 lb (450 g) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) pasteurized egg whites
  • 2 lb (904 g) salted butter
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) popcorn salt
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) caramel


Mix 1/2 of the powdered sugar with the pasteurized egg whites. Mix on medium speed for 10 minutes. Add room temperature salted butter, and beat for 10 minutes on medium speed. Add the caramel and popcorn salt. Mix on medium speed for 3 minutes.


Tip: Store covered at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.
