What materials did you use? Quilting cotton, 11" regular zipper that I bar-tacked and cut down to fit the bag, mid-weight fusible interfacing.

What are you most proud of? I found a tutorial on how to cover the ends of a zipper before installing it, so I tried it on the last one I did. It looks a little more polished to me since the previous versions had a little bit of a gap at the zipper ends. I'm sure it's b/c of the way I sewed it, but w/the flaps over the ends I didn't have to worry about that. I didn't do the strip on the sides since I was sewing the actual bag for that section. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Watch the whole video first then start it again and follow along as you sew.

Nice! I've had a zipper for 2 years . . . I'm afraid to take it out of the packet! lol! Great job!

Thanks, but OMG, I'm the same way still. Actually the trick with the glue definitely helped. Easier than pins and since it pretty much stays together on its own, sewing isn't as hard. Also, I unzipped it a few inches at the beginning, then zipped it back up and continued to sew; that way I didn't have to go around the bulky part. Sew a few stitches, leave the needle in, but lift the presser foot and unzip/zip. Good luck!
