I had heaps of fun making this today! Great way to spend a very windy & rainy afternoon! I made my own adjustments - longer strap so I can slip it over my wrist. (2 inch wide by 10 inch long, made in the same way as the short one in tutorial.) And I also added some card pockets onto the back inside lining. A pretty Fat 8th I got at last years craft fair & some calico I had lying around for the lining.
What was your inspiration?
Been wanting to make a little zipper purse for awhile, and what better way then to sit down with my ipad, Craftsy app & sewing machine!
What are you most proud of?
Successfully sewing the zip in place and working out how to make my own card pockets :)
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
Don't be afraid of the zip! lol It was actually very easy - I did get the machine foot caught on it once, but I managed to slide the zip out of the way and fix it up :)
