Thank you, Amy. I am still having some issues going over the zipper and getting side stitching looking good (skipping some stitches with the left hand needle especially). I watched the segment again and am going to do again. Also, I was cutting with the knife, not just riding next to it.. One more time!

The skipped stitches are a sign that you need a new needle. Because you're serging over something thicker (the zipper tape, specifically), you may want to use a thicker needle, if your machine allows that. Sewing s-l-o-w-l-y over the zipper ends is still my best advice for those. The coil ends can create some "interesting" tension effects! ;)
