Zion's colorful baby quilt

Learn It

This project was made as part of a Craftsy course:
Quilting Quickly: Patterns, Techniques & Tips »

Instructions

In the middle I got worried about using such bright colors surrounded by black for a baby quilt, but I went ahead and finished it and it came out really well. So go with your originality! I use a decorative stitch which is wide (leaves on each side of a vine) to insure that all the edges are finished so quilt can be machine washed and dried many times - babies have a tendency to share body fluids!

Difficulty:

Category: Quilting

Type of item: Functional

For: Infant/Baby

Style: Casual

Materials

Triple painted cotton charms and black cotton jelly rolls, and cotton jungle animals for backing.

Luv the colors against the black - sort of jewel-like. :)
