What was your inspiration?
I found the zigzag stitch in a knitting pattern book I have, which inspired me to come up with a pattern to make a scarf for my niece. I also wanted to try something new in an attempt to better my knitting skills.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of the fact that I actually made my own scarf pattern, although not an entirely perfect one.
What advice would you give someone starting this project?
One end of the scarf, which I think was the cast on end, has a slight wavy effect that the opposite end did not end up with. I'm not sure if it's the way that I knit or something I should have done differently when creating the pattern.
