This is fabulous, I have never tried 'quilt as you go' but it looks fun so may have to when I see how your wonderful quilt turned out. Did you make one block, sandwich and quilt it at a time? If so how did you join all the blocks together? Sorry if I sound stupid but I have never used this technique.

Yes the block sandwiches are quilted as each strip of fabric is sewn on. The blocks are sewn together with the seam on the top of the quilt, then the seams are covered by the sashing strips top stitched on. Hope this makes sense to you.

Love this, can't wait to try it. I've done log cabin before, but this is the first other quilt as you go pattern I've seen!
