What materials did you use? Zentangle book bird pattern, quilters cotton, cotton batting

Thanks. The next time I try these I am stitching the bird first, then quilting it. That way I won't mash down all the loft in the bird with the heavier quilting. I think it would look neat to quilt between the different design sections. I think it would be neat to do a bunch of these Zentangle blocks and put them in a modern quilt, surrounded by negative space. Have fun!

Thanks. The pattern was from a book on Zentangle. Mandy inspired me to try something completely different, so instead of drawing these, I tried quilting them.
